The BeckRidge Chorale is an auditioned adult mixed ensemble with members drawn from southeastern lower Michigan. The organization is completely self-supported and a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.
While we enjoy our weekly rehearsals, we are driven, focused, dedicated and inspired to be the best. Rehearsals operate at a high energy level and singers are expected to match the pace. Members are encouraged to study their music when away from rehearsals and to be prepared when the ensemble meets. We hold sectional rehearsals at the beginning of each season in an effort to eliminate potential problems within specific sections of the chorale. Rehearsals not only focus on preparing music for the next performance, they focus on vocal production and bringing out the best in each individual voice. From proper breathing, to vowel production, we work to improve the skills of every member of the organization.
BeckRidge Chorale performances are designed with an audience in mind. We intentionally set out to touch hearts and minds with the power, majesty and subtle beauty that only the human voice can offer. We love the opportunities we have to inspire, lift and educate an audience. We bring everything we have to every performance and leave nothing behind.
